Law school is tough, even overwhelming at times, especially for new 1Ls
who are just learning the ropes. Sometimes students need more than just a study
group, they need a dedicated tutor who can listen to their issues and help them
problem solve. That's where BarCram comes in. At BarCram, we want to help law
students succeed in one of the toughest
academic settings in higher education.
We offer Bay Area law school tutoring services in person and online, and are also willing to offer online services to other law students.

interpreting a case? Got a research paper coming up? Need suggestions on how to
deal with the Socratic method? We can help.
Services:
- Case and Statutory Interpretation - We'll go over the case together, and examine not just what's going on, but why it’s important in the grand scheme of things. You'll get a more meaningful understanding of a case that a canned brief won't provide.
- Brief and Outline Preparation - We'll work with you to put together your briefs so you can concisely recall what's important in a case. We'll also help you develop strategies to successfully develop briefs on your own. We'll also help you determine the best way to prepare outlines. Every student is different, so we'll work together to see what fits for you.
- Research Paper Assistance - Writing a legal research paper or legal writing assignment and need someone to go over it? Our law review trained tutors can help demystify the Bluebook.
- Exam Prep - Stressed out about exams? We'll help you develop a study plan and other strategies that work best for you. We'll even provide you with sample exams that can help aid your study work.
- Trial Advocacy / Oral Presentations - Are you preparing an oral presentation or getting ready for that closing argument in a trial advocacy class or mock trial competition? We'll listen to your presentation and offer feedback.
